I have a medical condition and need a specific type of room / location. How can I be sure that I will be offered a suitable room?
• Students with additional requirements must send documentary evidence to the Accommodation Office before August 2010, i.e. in advance of their application for accommodation. You should send this at conditional stage and not wait until you have an unconditional offer. • If you have accepted the University of York as first choice, you should complete and return the Submission of Evidence form before your offer becomes unconditional. Requests will only be considered with written evidence from an appropriate professional, e.g. GP or consultant. • If the evidence you provide is appropriate, you will be sent an email confirming receipt and a reference number for you to use when you apply on-line for accommodation. Please keep this reference number as you will need to quote it when you apply for accommodation.
