The Office of Sponsored Programs, Pre-Award Services reviews any Material Transfer Agreements, negotiates terms and conditions, and the Associate Vice President for Research Administration signs the agreement as Authorized University Official. Q: What do I do if I invent something while working on a sponsored project? A: Inventions should be promptly reported to the Office of Sponsored Programs, Pre-Award Services using the invention disclosure form. Office of Sponsored Programs, Pre-Award Services will report the invention to the sponsor if required and forward the disclosure to the Office of Technology Transfer for evaluation for patent purposed.
