I have a lot of podcast subscriptions entered in my desktop podcatcher application. How can I import podcast lists into SelectRadio software?
SelectRadio software now includes an import feature which supports podcast lists in Outline Processor Markup Language (OPML) format. With applications such as iTunes and iPodder and websites such as digg.com, you can export your podcast list in OPML format. For example, from iTunes v8 go to your podcast list in Library, then select File>Library>Export Playlist to export your list to an OPML file. Then copy the OPML file to your handheld device using ActiveSync or a wireless connection. To import the list to SelectRadio, just tap Channels>Import and browse for the OPML file location. You can also import a list directly from a website which offers OPML-format podcast lists such as www.podcast.com. OPML is used for many types of lists, but SelectRadio can only utilize podcast OPML lists. To search for podcast OPML lists in Google, just enter a topic or podcasting source name, the term podcast, and filetype:OPML in the search box.
