I have a good set of Highers obtained 20 years ago. Do I need any additional qualifications?
All applicants, even those who are graduates, must have evidence of academic achievement within the last 5 years. Q: I have (for example) worked as a teacher/nurse/playleader/classroom assistant/speech and language therapy assistant/done voluntary work in a nursing home/ special school/have an autistic child/a father who had a stroke. Will this help my application? A: Any experience or work with children or adults is useful if it has increased your awareness of communication and especially if it has brought you into contact with people who have communication difficulties.
