Send an email to the Housing Information Office to request a friend who is not currently living in the University Residence Halls. Your friend must submit a contract so it is received on or before May 15 for the fall semester and December 15 for the spring semester. S/he needs to submit the contract at least a week in advance of this date – or much earlier if in another country. There must be a confirmed vacancy in your room for your friend as of May 15 for the fall semester or December 15 for the spring semester, and your friend must list you as a roommate preference on her/his contract. Your friend should contact the Housing Information office via email if they need more contract information.
