I have a device on the list but when I select the device it does not connect and the connection indicator keeps spinning, what do i do?

If this is the first time you are trying to connect your iPhone/iPod Touch to your Mac, a popup on the Mac will request that you authorize the connection request, press “Accept” to add the device to your authorized devices or “Accept once” to only accept this device for this session. If no popup appears check your Mac’s firewall settings to accept incoming connections.
