I have a current Illinois secondary teaching (Type 09) certificate and would like to obtain a K-12 Library Information Specialist (Type 10) Certificate. Is this possible?

Yes, the Illinois State Board of Education does allow for a teacher with a Type 09 certificate to apply for a Special K-12 Certificate by submitting ISBE Form 73-03C.
