Any faculty or staff member can register a computer on behalf of a guest or consultant if that individual needs access to the Middlebury network. It’s important that the consultant’s computer has up-to-date virus protection and that their operating system is up-to-date. If you register a consultant’s computer and that computer is identified as posing a security risk to the campus network, you will be contacted to assist LIS in resolving the problem.
