All maps for 2006 and earlier engines have closed loop target defaults set at 13.0 for all throttle positions. Adjusting the targets to improve mileage in the “AFR vs. TPS @ rpm” pages is a simple task which is covered in the current operation manual. You need to modify only one map page, starting with the 768 RPMs and you can paste them to 3328 RPMs (recommended). As examples, you can view multi-tiered map pages for 07-08 models in the SmartLink software. These maps will yield excellent results for fuel economy.
