I have a class/organization/group or other non-personal e-mail account I maintain on the Bay e-mail system. How is that account to be migrated?
All non-personal e-mail accounts should have a designated ‘custodian’. This information was collected some time ago from various e-mail administrators. Migration of these accounts will be scheduled separately from personal and dept. migration schedules. The scheduling of these migrations will not be at the discretion of the custodian. Custodians will be notified via e-mail (email address of the custodian, not the email address of the non-personal account) once, about one week and then again about 24-48 hours before the account’s migration slot. Additional information of the migrated account’s NetID and initial password will also be provided at this time. Thereafter these accounts’ NetID maintenance (password and security questions configuration) can be accomplished at the NetID web site. Except for the additional supplying of NetID info via e-mail, migration of these non-personal accounts should be comparable personal accounts.
