There have been no problems on these installations. Its pretty much the same procedure as a common PE or glass kayak. We do recommend a dab of epoxy on the inner edge of the cut-outs to insure the wood is well sealed. The Chesapeake foredeck contours are comparatively gentle and so the two 1/8 nylon spacer hardware items included in our standard package for the aft end of the pump holder-hull contact, are ideal. Pygmy has a sharp hinge in the foredeck, and in lieu, we recommend use of four nylon spacers, one on each of the four bolts. Aside from this, there are no significant differences.
