It depends. The ICHP VisaScreen® certificate is required for certain health care professionals who are seeking an occupational visa or adjustment of status to permanent resident. One of the requirements of VisaScreen® is that first-level, general nurses must have passed either the CGFNS Qualifying Exam® or the NCLEX-RN®. Since you already have the CGFNS (Certification Program) certificate, you will not have to take another nursing exam to obtain your visa and your nursing education transcripts on file may be used for the educational evaluation element of VisaScreen®.
