Andy C is wrong. The website he has linked to talks about taking your full test NOT a CBT. To ride a 125cc at 17 you need to just have an ‘A’ (Motorcycle entitlement) added to your licence as you are likely to just have a ‘P’ (Moped) At 17 you do not have to redo a CBT to ride a 125cc, if you are moving to a geared bike it might be worth having a little training to get an understanding of how a geared bike works. You will have to redo your CBT once it has run out unless you decide to take the full test before then.
