There are three projection units in the back. Each projects to its own color, Red, Green and Blue. One of the follow may have happened: 1. The adjustments for one of the colors is slightly off, thus more blue is coming through. 2. The blue projector is off, or it has sustained some sort of damage. 3. A bit of debris has collected in such a manner as to refract a line from the blue or cuts off the projection from Red and Green. 4. The mirror in the rear has a crack. Most late model project models project from the front to the read of the cabinet where the light is reflected onto the screen via a mirror. That mirror is very fragile and somewhat large. It can (and does) collect a lot of dust and debris. First try to auto focus the TV: Most later model project-type TV’s have an auto focus feature via the menu, what it will do is align the projectors, going through a few test patterns.
