I have a .451 Detonics magnum pistol. Can I shoot “45Super”® ammunition in a .451 Detonics barrel?

Do not under any circumstances fire “45Super”® ammunition in any barrel that exceeds standard 45acp barrel chamber dimensions. The “45Super”® case is the same overall length (.898.) as the standard 45acp case. The .451 Detonics case is(.945.), about(.050.) longer than the “45Super”® or standard 45acp case. Remember the 45acp case was designed to headspace on the casemouth! This includes the “45Super”®! Firing “45Super”® ammunition in a .451 Detonics barrel would result in about (.050) excess headspace! and this with 28,500 psi.ammunition could be disasterous! Do not do it REGARDLESS OF WHAT YOU MAY HAVE READ OR BEEN TOLD !
