At Hwa Rang Do® Academies throughout the world, there are special programs set up accordingly for children from age 3 to 5 years old. Typically, at these young ages, the main focus of class is to help prepare the child for further growth in martial arts. Learning coordination, develop small and large motor skills, enhancing mental focus and learning ability, and most importantly have fun! Age 5 or 6 is usually the best age to get a child started in the actual children’s Hwa Rang Do® / Tae Soo Do® program. Yet ages 3 to 5 will benefit from training in incredible measures as well. Thus in essence, the younger your child starts the better the child will be in the future of their martial art growth.
