It could be the plug,s or the wire,s they burn out on these motor,s because the heat is tremendous on these newer engine,s,,i would also check the distributor cap,,and rotary button also,,if it has any mileage at all on it,,and considering the year of it,,it probably just need,s a real good tune up,,as for the alternator,,everyone on here seem,s to think that the alternator,,causes everything,,well i have had my own business now for 35 yrs,,and never have i had a un happy customer,,so i guess that means something.
