I have 6.50 installed and when I try to upgrade it to 7x using the 7x serial number sent to me it doesn work. Whats wrong?

Nothing – 7x serial numbers can only work with a 7x installation. Providing a 7x serial number to a 6.50 installation does not turn it into 7x software. This makes sense if you think about it, since getting a 7x serial number to somehow turn on 7x features within a 6.50 installation could not be done without time travel. The 6.50 installation was created months before 7x was created and published on DVD, so there’s nothing on your computer that’s 7x-ish which can be activated by a 7x serial number until you install Manifold 7x from a Manifold 7x DVD.
