You should completely uninstall the demo using Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs and then delete the actual game folder (default: c:\program files\microsoft games\rise of legends demo). After uninstalling, reboot your system before attempting to install the full version. This will help ensure a clean install of the full version of Rise of Legends.
