In simple terms, the electrical system of the heart consists of a pacemaker in one of the upper two chambers of the heart (right atrium) and the pacing signal is carried to the bottom two chambers (right and left ventricle) by two sets of wires (right and left bundles) to tell the two chambers when to beat. You lost (or have never had) the wire to the right ventricle but that’s OK because when the left ventricle gets its signal, it tells the right ventricle to also beat.
