I got Windows 95/98/Me and Aequitas does not work?
Unfortunately Aequitas does not support those operating systems. I get an error message containing “MSVBVM60.DLL” ( ie. “C:WindowsSystem32MSVBVM60.DLL is no valid Windows file”)! In this case you have to reinstall Visual Basic Runtime which you can get from the Microsoft site: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=7b9ba261-7a9c-43e7-9117-f673077ffb3c My framerate keeps dropping when a screenshot is being made! To make the size of the screenshots smaller we use JPEG compression. You can choose to use this JPEG conversion during or after the game. Of course having the compression happen after the game sounds better, but you have to think about the fact that Aequitas will then write BMP files to your harddrive during your game and these files can easily be 5MB and thus make your harddrive lag.
