No you cannot. You are not allowed to change your immigration status on a tourist visa. It is an express condition of this type of visa that you are not entering the UK for a number of reasons one of them being to work. You should also not be entering the UK to seek work, even if the intention is not to start work on that trip. If you are stopped and your bags searched and any certificates, CVs or documentation which might imply that you are job hunting is found in your baggage, you will be refused entry.
