I got my highest score ever while playing a Challenge match. Why isn it showing in the leaderboards?

Unfortunately, scores and survival times achieved while doing a challenge do not count toward the general leaderboards, only to the leaderboard of that challenge. Hopefully this will be corrected as it discourages challenge participation to an extent.
