I got A’s in Chem 31 and 32, but C’s in Chem 151 and 152. Should I retake or go at another institution during the summer?
If your overall knowledge of organic is satisfactory, a better idea would be to go on and take Biochemistry at Duke and work at it, earning a grade of A or B. That will show that you are capable of doing upper level chemistry. Your MCAT scores will also be important. If you had a really terrible time in organic chemistry and don’t feel that you understand the subject, then that is a problem. Come in to talk about it in person.
