I got a warning message dialog from Skype when BayGenie is trying to send a SMS notification to me. Is that right?

BayGenie sends SMS through Skype service. For security reasons, Skype would ask for user’s permissions when a program is trying to access it. You need to choose the option “Allow this program to use Skype” when prompted, shown as below.
