I got a broken nose from a kickboxing match i had friday night. I was told by Urgent Care that although my nose is still aligned correctly it is fractured (minor)…right now my nose is clogged (i assume from the swelling), am I right?
It is possible that your nose is clogged because of the swelling, however, sometimes a collection of blood may accompany a broken nose and this can block both nostrils. If you notice that the walls between your nostrils begin to swell up, then you need to go back to urgent care because the blood will need to be drained to prevent infection….You must also go back to urgent care if you notice draining from your nose, or if it starts bleeding and does not stop after 10 minutes whilst you are pinching the nostrils closed.
