I found this post which is similar to what you’re experiencing: Question Every time (no exceptions) I swim in any public pool or water park, whether it is chlorinated by the salt water method or the regular method, I get a rash. It is always on the insides of my arms (above my elbows) and the insides of my legs (above my knees). It lasts about 2 weeks, and is painfull because when I walk my legs rub against each other, and my arms rub against my torso. Things I’ve tried: taking an allergy pill before swimming, rubbing baby oil into my skin before swimming as a barrier, showering very thoroughly afterwards. Nothing makes the slightest difference so far. I have an Autistic son who loves swimming more than anything, and I can’t take him. Please help! Thanks for your time. Answer The first thing I would do is to try placing Aquaphor on the affected skin before you go into the pool. Aquaphor is over the counter. If this does not work then visit your local dermatologist and get a prescriptio
