This is apparently due to a bug in perl 5.8.0, which is fixed in 5.8.2, but reintroduced in 5.8.3. CoralReef 3.7.4 contains a workaround for this. You may also be able to get around it by setting the environment variable CPPFLAGS=”-D_GNU_SOURCE” when running configure in coral.
