I get a run-time error when trying to install PrepLogic software. What do I do?
What’s happening here is that Windows is holding in memory a file that InstallShield (the industry standard for software installation) is supposed to update. Since Windows will not allow this file to be updated (installed) while it’s in memory, InstallShield moves on. When you try to run the software, it needs this updated file but it was never installed. Uninstall PrepLogic from your computer. Close all open applications and reboot your computer. Before opening any additional programs, install PrepLogic. You should be able to run PrepLogic now.
