Didn’t you ever see an arcade game power up at the arcade? When you turn on a real arcade machine, the machine goes through self-tests, diagnostics, etc. to ensure the internals are okay. Some games have a VERY VERY long self-test when they start. Just be patient – it will end eventually. Check the troubleshooting section for more help.
