I get a clear discharge through out the month, what is it?
Question: I get this clear discharge the intertime month until my period. It looks as if it is a gel, it doesn’t cause pain but it does irritate the skin around there. What should I do? Answer: If this discharge is something that you’ve always experienced, it is probably not something to be concerned about. All women experience vaginal discharge throughout the course of the month, and its consistency and color change depending on where you are in your cycle. If this discharge is a recent development, you should see your health care provider. Dramatic changes in discharge can indicate infection, however, clear and odorless discharge is probably not problematic. Since the discharge is irritating to your skin, you may want to see your provider anyway.
