One of the oldest rules of business; you get what you pay for. Several of these “free” search engine submission companies have nothing more than old and out-of-date submission scripts that simply do not work. Others don’t even have a contact telephone number listed anywhere on their site, because they know their service does not work. Yet others not only will not get your site listed on major search engines, but they will also ask you to put complicated codes and banner ads on your web site. Why else would they offer a “free” service if they have nothing to gain from their offer?
