A. With the large change in the armor process from the initial system to the one implemented in the CU, the devs gave RIS owners to “break down” their armor. This allows them to destroy the armor piece and retrieve the RIS segment that comprises of all the RIS loot components. This piece can be given to an armorsmith that can remake it into a new piece of RIS using the new crafting system and making the armor resists competitive again.
