I find it very annoying that SuperMemo automatically changes the hook of a given branch upon adding a number of elements. Is this a bug?
For performance reasons, SuperMemo arranges elements into separate folders of the knowledge tree if their number exceeds the limit set byChildren limit per branch. It also automatically changes thehook(i.e. the appending point) to make sure it adds new elements to a folder with the fewest children. If you would like to change the present limit of elements per branch, selectTools:Options(Ctrl+Shift+O), click theSuperMemo tab, and slide theChildren limit per branch controlto a desired value. Alternatively, you can manually build the knowledge tree of your collection.
