I don’t know where people get the idea that size 11 is bad. You are turning your weight into muscle and losing fat. Just keep it up. You can lift weights – use cans of soup or bleach bottles or anything you can hold. March in pace. Exercise to a TV exercise show or just to any music. Go to any steps in your house and step up, put both feet on the step, step down backwards, continue and increase the time you can do it. Cut down on the weekend treats. Make sure that any treat you have is small, small, small. Never eat out of the box. You are doing great so far, so just keep it up. Do not do anything unhealthy.

I used to be overweight as well when I was your age. The trick to losing it is to keep active (run, walk, situps, etc.) and to eat several small, healthy meals through the day. This will keep your metabolism at an optimal level. When you eat to little your body thinks that it’s starving it tries to store up fat to feed itself. Cut out things like simple carbs (white pasta, white bread, and rice) and replace them with whole whole wheat alternatives. I really would consider trying to get a membership to a gym (pay for it yourself if you can, it’ll motivate you to go). I don’t think I could’ve lost weight without one.

I’m not trying to be mean okay? So don’t take it that way, but if you are doing everything right, then you would be loosing weight. To lose weight you need to burn more callories than you are comsuming. Okay first of all you aren’t going to lose fat if you aren’t working out. So you need to find a way to get some excersise. What I would do is go to a sports store and buy some ankle weights, around 2-5 lbs and go for a walk everyday. Even if it’s cold just dress warm and once you start moving you will warm up. You are going to have to find SOMETHING to do for a work out or you will just be losing muscle and not fat, and that will cause selulite. I was on steriod treatment for allergies and stuff from the doctors and I put on a good 15-20lbs. I know how you feel, you wanna lose body fat and keep the mucsle so you have a nice shape. I just lost about 4lbs in one week from doing this. Get a really healthy diet. Cut out fats and sugar.

You can try skipping in your garden, doing situps, squats, walking up and down the stairs. If you cannot afford an exercise bike or an elliptical, maybe you can try and find one second hand. And don’t worry too much about the weight. A couple of weeks after I changed my exercise routine, I put on 3 – 5 pounds but its because muscle weighs more than fat.
