There are several possible causes for this: • Check to make sure you are using the proper public Community String to scan with. That is found in SNMP Preferences. • Check your delay – scanning too fast for devices that are physically too close to you can have the effect of blocking replies. Try relaxing your scanning delay to 60ms, then work towards faster scans from there if you want. • Make sure you can “see” one of your devices. Try pinging one of them. If you can’t see it, neither can Stronghold. • If you are directly connected to the device, make sure you are on the same subnet. • The devices you are looking for may employ filtering, triple-A or some other authentication which is not allowing your SNMP requests to be serviced.
