You may change your election up to October 15, 2008. To change your election, you must contact the North Dakota Office of State Tax Commissioner before October 15, 2008, and request that your election on Form ND-1, line 24c (or Form ND-2, Tax Computation Schedule, line 6c) be changed from a carryforward to a certificate. After October 15, 2008, you may not change your election. You may e-mail your request to Individualtax@nd.gov. Or call our office toll free at 1.800.638.2901, or locally at 701.328.1032. You may also submit a written request to Individual Income Tax Section, Office of State Tax Commissioner, 600 E. Blvd. Ave., Dept. 127, Bismarck, ND 58505-0599.
