I download from an FTP server with broken downloads (resume) support via a proxy server, but Orbit downloader always starts downloading from the beginning. Why?

The proxy-server might not be supporting resume (like Microsoft Proxy Server). If this is the case, you should try to use direct connection or Winsock-client.
