I don’t want to get big and bulky from heavy weight lifting?
In order for people to get bigger, and especially women there are 2 things that have to be met. 1) Pick up VERY heavy weight on a frequent basis. This is not what we do. There will be days that 15 min of the workout are dedicated to a heavy Olympic lift, but that is not our main focus or workout. We do these lifts to promote and increase our athlete’s strength levels, not muscle mass. 2) Eat an extremely high amount of calories on a daily basis. It takes a large effort on a persons part to gain productive muscle mass, by eating the right foods in a very high amount. This is also another thing we do not focus on. The majority of our workouts provide your muscles with more contractile potential and not hypertrophy (muscle mass).
