I don want to be a variable fighter/mecha pilot. Is there still a place for me in the game?
There’s no question that the game is geared toward VF pilots, but that doesn’t mean they are the only character type allowed, or that they necessarily get preferential treatment. Every VF squadron belongs to an airbase or starship, which means there are plenty of mechanics, ship crew, base personnel, intelligence officers, even civilians to be played. If you want to play a particular type of character but don’t know where to fit him/her in, contact a GM. They will be more than happy to take a look around and see where your character is needed.
