I don want all staff to be able to access some of the features in iWise. Can I restrict this access?
Yes. iWise allows you to group staff into different roles or security groups. These groups permit certain levels of access to the users in the group. Some examples of these groups are: • Privacy group: Members of this group can see restricted details on students and parents (phone numbers and addresses for example). • Admin: Members of this group have complete access to the site. • Academic Admin: Members of this group can view and edit all reports and classes. • Helpdesk Admin: Members of this group can view all jobs and create jobs for anyone, and also create assets, and organisations. As well as groups assigned to the user certain functions are enabled for special users defined by your Maze data. For example Pastoral Carers can access extra Pastoral menus in the Academic and Student Admin modules. Heads of Department can see all classes for all subjects in their faculty.
