I dont think I can miss a full day of work every other Friday to attend class. Can I still participate in the EMBA program?
Because our EMBA program is delivered over four semesters, the every other Friday might not be as daunting as it seems. For example, if you begin the program in fall of 2008, you would be in class 8 Fridays that first year, then a total of 16 Fridays during calendar year 2009, then another 8 Fridays in spring of 2010. It is important to talk with your employer before considering the EMBA program. To be successful in the program it is necessary to attend the Friday sessions and you will need to work with your employer to determine how to work out your schedule. Some employers are very supportive and allow their employees to attend class in lieu of a work day. Many students agree to work a flexible schedule and make up the hours not spent at work, or use paid time off.
