Depending upon your plan, you may incur nominal airtime usage for initially downloading the application. Once installed, the Alltel Perks service automatically downloads content and offers daily. This daily download is attempted during a period when your phone is idle and airtime usage is free – typically in the middle of the night. If your handset is unable to download content and offers during a free usage period (for example, if the phone is powered off), Alltel Perks may attempt to download content and offers during regular normal airtime hours. In this case, you will be prompted to allow Alltel Perks to download offers and content before it proceeds. If you agree, this will count as normal airtime usage based on your current plan – typically a minute or two of airtime. If you decline, Alltel Perks will not proceed and no airtime usage will be applied, and the application will attempt to download content again during a free usage period.
