Yes. Anyone can subscribe to receive NYSDOT TransAlerts; however, this is a NYS system that only relays information regarding travel in NYS. If NYSDOT is aware of problems in surrounding states that will affect travel within NYS, then appropriate notices will be sent to TransAlert subscribers. Subscriptions to TransAlerts are accessed through the NY-ALERT Web site at the following link: NY-ALERT Subscribe.
