hi mate,when you install a chipset thats not compatible with your motherboard it will just refuse to install the drivers and prompt a message that its not compatible try going to http://www.sis.com/download/download_ste… is the download for the sis 740 chipset however as you said you have no agp slot,this dosent matter,its installing the chipset drivers,and if agp drivers are included in this it will just skip this step a chipset is split into two sections on the motherboard,northbridge and southbridge basically the chipset is drivers are drivers that run the motherboards devices such as lan,usb ,onboard audio and v.g.a hope this helps good luck mate!
