I don’t know how much my baby weighs. How long do babies stay in each size by age?
While all babies are different, we can give you an estimate on what the “average” baby will wear for his/her diaper years. Size small (8-14lbs) typically fits babies from newborn to 4-6 months of age. Not all newborns can wear gDiapers from day one. They truly work best beginning at 8 lbs. Size medium (13-28lbs) has the longest wear time. Starting at 4-6 months of age most babies will wear the medium until they’re 18 months to 2 years old. Not all babies make it to size large, since some potty train before it’s needed. But if you get there, the large will take your little one up to 36lbs. The age on this size varies greatly from child to child.
