I don know anything about Macross. Can I still play here?
Absolutely! When I first started roleplaying Macross, I knew next to nothing about the setting. It’s not a difficult one to grasp, however. In fact, most of the players on this board started with limited or no experience whatsoever with Macross. If you’re interested but unfamiliar, take a look around; there’s plenty of information posted to help you get up to speed.
