I don have time anymore to be my groups Webmaster and the Executive Committee has found someone else to do the job. How does the transfer take place?
The agreement states that either party may cancel the agreement on one day’s written notice. All it takes is to notify ACS in writing that there will be a change in Webmasters. Upon notification, the password will be disabled and a new one issued for the new Webmaster. If the Webmaster is also a section officer and the job goes along with the office (such as Secretary or Past Chair or Chair-elect), then ACS would need to be notified so the incoming officer can be issued a new password. Any changes should be sent in writing so that the request is on file and the record is unambiguous.
