Another myth. In the bygone cruise era, yes, tuxedos and formal gowns were expected for dining and evening functions. You could take a dinner jacket or cocktail gown, but this is no longer a mandate in modern cruising. We would recommend bringing a dark suit and tie for the men and a cocktail dress for the ladies for only the fanciest of evening occasions. Pack what you would normally take to any vacation resort and you’ll be fine. We’ll be happy to suggest packing inclusions when you contact us.
