You do not need to have a Paypal account in order to use Paypal. When you get to the Paypal login screen, you’ll see at the lower left hand side of the page (in small letters) a link under the heading “Don’t have a Paypal account?”. Following the “Continue” link will allow you to make a one-time credit card purchase without a Paypal account. They’ll of course try to get you to sign up, but it’s not required.
